Our scallops have been wild caught, cleaned, and then individually quick frozen to preserve their freshness and flavor. The texture of these frozen scallops is firm and slightly sweet, with a delicate flavor that can range from mild to rich depending on the variety. Frozen scallops are convenient for cooking since they can be stored for extended periods and can be easily thawed before cooking. When cooked properly, they become tender, moist, and succulent. They are often appreciated for their versatility and the ability to retain their natural sweetness and texture once thawed.

Frozen scallops are ideal for:

  • searing or grilling

  • adding to pasta, soups, and stews

Thawing Instructions: Remove scallops from bag, thaw in a colander or strainer under cold running water for approximately 3 minutes. Pat dry and use immediately.

Cooking instructions:

  • Sauté scallops in hot butter or oil over high heat for 5 to 8 minutes. Season to taste with salt, pepper, garlic, and parsley.

  • Boil in salted water for 3 minutes. Drain, chill, and use in your favorite seafood recipe.
